Yep...It's the oldest trick in the book and what may preachers do as well
especially fundamentalists ones. It comes from a tribal mentality to set up
and establish a tribe of us and pit it against the other tribes, them. It's
as old a human (or chimpanzee for that matter) existence. The right wing is
very big on the tribalism as you could hear in Palin's campaign speeches
talking about the "real" America vs. the other America. The right wing
talkers especially Limbaugh, Hannity and Savage work in this mode. Their
main trick is constantly claim that the other tribes are out to get them and
that they are in danger if they don't do something and rise to the occasion.
Society needs to come to grips with these hate mongers. Station ownership
and licensing needs to be addressed to counter the tribal talkers. |

I'm getting the impression that the real
message; that the stuff is unworkable, is
being lost on these people of limited
mental resources.
Of course, as the elements of survival
become more critical, people with lesser
abilities are going to find it increasingly
difficult to prosper. Realize that while
people can say whatever they want, believe
in whatever they choose, only those who
believe in the right things are going to
obtain the best results.

was hitting a "soft patch"? Golly, what a soft patch

the market was at 11,000 and above, when
he and his minions kept saying "The economy

The financial pundits and political NeoCon
pundits, Rush, Savage, O'Reilly, all, were
saying the market would recover... "We've
hit bottom... It's over... Time to buy in!!!"
Well, that was 3,000 points ago and we're
still dropping! Gave them 700 billion dollars
to correct the problem, they told us they knew
what was happening, and they knew what to
do about it, only thing missing was the money
to do it.
Well, what the public didn't get to discuss
was the fact that they'd already found "backdoor"
ways to pump over 2 trillion dollars into the
market using their administrative authorities
alone. They got the 700 billion in public,
and we've since discovered they didn't know
what to do with the money! They've tried this,
they've tried that, they've proposed, they've
pulled back and proposed again! They've
even resorted to asking the crooks, who
created the mess, to help them!
What did they get for the money? A gaggle of
high flying business executives flying off on
Gulfstream jets to palatial resorts to enjoy a
serendipitous holiday at taxpayer expense
to the tune of some 400,000 dollars for
just a few days stay. How crude, eh?
.... And Your "best president ever", has
said not a word about this disgusting
spectacle, even though it covers him
too with shame!
Some "toppling like dominoes" eh?
The only thing toppling, it's sad to say,
is your pensions and savings and investments!

Note that they've tried to compare the
mere words of liberals "you should die",
to the actions we expect from the "gun
grabbing", "conservatives". But we
don't remember? "Stick and stones
will break my bones, but words will
never harm me"? When does a mothers
frustration that results in "I'll Kill You",
most children have heard more than
once in their lives, become "hate speech"?
When does it become "terrorism"? Would
the FBI really move fast, if they heard

One thing is for sure, of all of those

After all, Obama's election did hold a wee
bit of meaning for peoples and gov't worldwide.
Any journalist worth his/her salt, as well

would be remiss in not logging on to that

learn what there was to be learned. Knowing
what a source of trouble such people can,
and probably will be.
They'll be looking for that very disconsolated
loner spewing invective and offering cryptic
"solutions". Like any group, most are just
cowardly whiners grousing, who will most
likely leave it at that. But, as we have seen,
over the years, there are a few who deem
it their place to take "action".
Fortunately for society at large, such people
are able to hold their beliefs, simply because
they are steeped in blissful ignorance. Ignorance
which they hold tightly onto, thus ensuring
any plans will be borne of ignorance too!
